AD Interviews: Helene Combs Dreiling

At the beginning of this year’s AIA Convention we had the chance to sit down with the current president, Helene Combs Dreiling (FAIA).
Helene, who also serves as the Executive Director at The Virginia Center for Architecture, is the third female president in the history of the AIA. That’s why we discussed about diversity in the profession, along with the current challenges for the organization that is the voice of the profession in the US, and the importance of design thinking in today’s economy.
