Watch as Soto takes us on a tour of this Classical-inspired architecture center at the University of Miami, notable for its two eclectic towers, stark white color and octagonal lecture hall. Soto loves the “tremendous play of light and shadow” on the building–and she notes students can learn much from Krier’s use of shading. She also singles out its breezeway for applause. Soto also discusses how the center relates to the Marion Manley-designed, International-style buildings that surround it. Finally, we get a quick peek inside the lecture hall.
